IS there such a thing as a tweak to increase digitizer responsiveness? I always notice the lag time between when I move my finger and the action being performed. It bothers me a lot.

Nope, 3G only and barely any WiFi.

Running: Exchange, Gmail, Currents, Reader, Weather widgets, Prey recovery, Tapatalk, Hootsuite, lightflow and maybe a few I forgot about.

I was always curious why people use a clock widget. You need to unlock your phone to see it and the time is already big as life on the lock screen.

You will most likely find that the responsiveness it fine (go into developer options and enable show touches). It is the ROM/kernel that is causing the lag. You can play with settings like turning animations and transitions off to speed up the reaction time.
