Default Re: [Radios][VZW] ALL the Verizon Galaxy Nexus Radios

Anyone know if we'll ever see a new radio for this phone?

I'm currently running FA02 because it gives the best hands-free bluetooth performance. The problem with it is that data and Bluetooth connections often freeze up, requiring airplane mode toggle, and about half the time, and actual reboot.

The newest radio doesn't have this issue, but the Bluetooth background humming is horrendous.

Most likely not until there is either a leak from Verizon or Verizon let's Google update the phone to 4.2.1

After that there will probably be a new radio with whatever version key lime pie turns out to be. I wouldn't expect anything after key lime pie tho

I'm having an issue in which my headset makes a lot of static when i use the ear piece, and the microphone doesn't work, but things work fine when i use a headset. Could this be related to the radio?

I tried replacing the earpiece and am planning to replace the microphone if this won't help

Did anyone extract the radios from the test 4.2.2 build yet?

Not yet... check this article out and at the bottom it gives two XDA links to keep an eye on...they are trying to dump the ota and extract kernel radios and boot loader as we speak
