Shiny's ROM is very stable and snappy. There are numerous mods available for it as well. Read the description and the installation instructions if you plan on using it. The ROM is not rooted so during flashing you will also need to flash super user.
It's tough to leave a great ROM like MMuzzy but 4.3 builds are getting better and better.

Stock aosp ROM a lot like this one just still being updated/worked on. Link is a couple post above and it is on rootzwiki there isn't a thread here on xda for it.

Well ....

I also took the plunge and swapped out to shiny myself, with a mmuzz backup in case he eventually comes back, which doesn't appear to be the case.

TWRP will work with anything, it's a choice of recovery, as long as you have the latest you should be fine.

BTW I dirty flashed shiny with only a cache/dalvik wipe (I believe the ROM itself wipes /system anyways) with no issues, just personally - I like mwalt's power menu better, hot boot option and no "icons" for each option ....

I did the same thing and have no issues. The 8/19 ROM is working good for me. Was having deep sleep issues with the 8/23 ROM, so flashed back to 8/19.

I also kept the last mmuzzy ROM as a back up Practical or sentimental? I'm not sure which.

Practical / smart. When moving to something else always have a back out plan.

Mmuzz's release could still easily take me to KLP if need be...

What's a good stock like kernel to use on shiny, similar to what we get here, because his stock kernel won't charge in TWRP...

I have also enjoyed your ROM Muzzy. My phone has you at 500 pages but I'm going to miss your ROM. I ran the November 26th build till now. I loved the battery life and had no problems so I never upgraded from it. Gonna try a new one but have my backups

Why? Download the ROM and pull it out of /system/media ... Easy enough, can even copy with root explorer to save on storage if need be from within the ROM ...

BT wasn't working for me on mmuzz 4.3 and went thru voice dialer.

It appears on shiny to go thru Google voice actions, and is working terrific.

In addition, I can now see my song tittles on the screen in my car via bluetooth. I loved muzzy's ROMs but that was the only thing it could NOT do was display songs via bluetooth in the car.
