Hmmmm not sure anything changed for me.
Ram, after i clear all the junk i always do after a reboot, is still only low 200's/100's
Normally, from the 01 build and previously, it is 400/ high 300's consistently.

Over time it will bog down to 70-12 mb of ram, slow down, then restart. Scary
And I'm not looking at the recents ram bar. Strange

I dont appear to have the powerbutton/ scrernwake lag anymore. Now i did change kernels to srarkissed. Im even underclocked to 1.03

Nova has be redrawing every time I hit the home button. This fix seemed to correct that problem

so when i flashed this rom i didn't add in the clock when you can pick what to install. do i need to re flash the rom to get the clock app in there?

I have been trying to get to the bottom of this ram bug (I dont call them bugs. I call them unwanted features) Seems using Android Tuner and setting the OOM settings in system tweaks to the very aggressive preset. Here are some screenshots, one after the phone had been on for awhile and one after a reboot.


Not going to lie. This is pissing me off really bad.

It's an issue in merged only builds so whatever you left out shouldn't have an impact.

I am uploading new builds, my internet is slow. Yes, the amazing devs at AOKP write the code for the features and I merge the features. Aroma is all mine though.

    I had quite a few people ask me to do this so here it is. My AOKP kangs. I have lots of merged commits and optimization in these builds for your enjoyment.

    Few things:
    1) All code is written by the members of team AOKP.
    2) I am not a developer. I am an Android hobbyist.
    3) I am not affiliated with team AOKP, therefore any issues you have with the ROM cannot be brought to team AOKP


    Please before you flash anything, I beg of you to backup your EFS partition. If it gets corrupted and you don't have a backup, there is NO FIX.
    Here's how

    Go into TWRP (make sure you are on 2.6.0.0.) then go to back up. Uncheck everything BUT EFS. Name the backup EFS and swipe to backup. That way not only do you have a backup of the whole phone but you have a backup of just the EFS partition.



    ####### FULL LINARO & -03 OPTIMZATIONS #######

    Pulls the Linaro 4.7 chain and places it into prebuilts/gcc/linux-x86/arm
    Modifies my build repo and a few other build files to direct it to the new chain
    30 different linaro patches and optimizations made by the linaro team that improve the performance of the rom
    -modifies the kernel I am currently building with to allow it to build Linaro
    -Modifies the device specific repos to allow it to build with the linarochain

    Ok guys, bad news. My wifes company is getting shut down and I will need to pick up extra hours. I will not have time to do android any more. I want to thank every one of you for supporting me and AOKP. You all have been f'n amazing. I have a good friend Akellar who is part of team AOKP and he does some really good builds.     Thanks. Back when I knew nothing about android I noticed that the devs would shy away or get easily aggravated. I want everyone not to look at me as a dev or rc but as just another person in the crowd. I post my gtalk where everyone can see it because I know how frustrating things can get. In the end I just want everyone to feel at home in the thread.
