On my Note 2014 (SM-P600) I have about a thumb sized area on the screen what the S-pen's little "circle cursor" is trying to avoid, and don't work correctly there. Touches with fingers work perfectly.

See the attached image, where I try to draw lines straightly and see how one area is avoided, just above the home button.

My question is, would it be possible to buy a digitzer for this tablet to fix the problem? Such as this:
ebay . com /itm/Digitizer-Touch-Screen-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-10-1-2014-Edition-SM-P600-C5UT-/390918628146?pt=Other_Tablet_eReader_Accessories&h ash=item5b0490e332

Or this item is only a touch digitizer? The touch and pen digitizer are one piece of equipment or separate?
Thank you!

I confirm that. When I use pen while Note is in cover its acting like you said. Just pull it of and problem will dissapear.

I have a similar problem in another area, it happens also without any cover.
In this image the blue lines should be always over the black ones..
