Default [APP]Javelin Browser - AdBlock, KitKat transparency, Multi-Windows, Reading mode

Javelin was launched less than 2 months back. And now, I am putting extra effort in making it work perfect on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition).

I think, Javelin browser is the best browser for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) over Chrome or any other browsers, for the following 3 reasons.

A - MULTI-TASK truly with Javelin Stack.
AKA Link-Bubble functionality. Javelin Stack allows you to Open links in other apps and view in without switching back and forth to the full browser.

B - BLOCK annoying ads
Native ad-block means faster load speeds, use less data.

C - KITKAT TRANSPARENCY
Javelin is the ONLY browser that makes full use of KitKat's transparent status and navigation bars so you can view the entire website on your screen.

Other Javelin features:
  • 1-touch navigation gestures
  • Built-in VPN
  • Uses AOSP WebView
  • Reading mode

What do you think?

Feel free to reply to the thread on your feedback and if there are any issues on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition), so the dev can make Javelin Browser better for current Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) owners

Seems good after short test. Will test it more. Is there going to be theme support?

Theme support is on the do list, but it is still unknown when it will be announced. Developer has some other fixes going on at the moment, but he has said that goal would be users to allow creating their own themes. Themes would be awesome add for this awesome browser.

I will ask developer if he knows something new about theme support. New Android L might change a lot of stuff.

Quick test:
It's forcing the screen to portrait mode, still needs to be optimized for tablets.
I wish it could hide the statusbar when it opens so I can enjoy a full screen browsing.
All the controls should appear on touch and disappear on scroll...like tabs, back and forward, home button, bookmarks..and it should be touch friendly like the metro mode Internet Explorer which I think is the best tablet designed browser.
Press the thanks button if I helped you.

You mean potrait mode if tilting device? I wouldn't use browser without rotating. You can't hide it automatically when opening browser, but from settings you can make statusbar hiding while scrolling and make it's opacity lower.

That would be blinking like hell if controls would appear on every touch and then disappears again.

try the browser on the S5, that's fullscreen and touch controls appear on scroll up / touch...the same concept would be great on tablets with windows 8 metro style browser controls.
maybe I don't know how to express myself properly.

I tried the browser but I think scrolling and opening a new page or removing an old one are choppy. Still prefer UC browser.
