Problem: my phone is generally refusing to connect to LTE, even when signal strength is better than -100dBm. It almost always connects only to DC-HSPA+, even in places where LTE usually works fine. LTE signal strength is fine as well, but... no connection.

Events leading up to this state:
  1. Made a full Nandroid backup in TWRP.
  2. Performed a factory reset in TWRP.
  3. Flashed I317MVLALJ2 stock onto the phone.
  4. Performed a factory reset with the stock recovery.
  5. Booted the phone up.
  6. Used CF-Autoroot on it.
  7. Tried to (re-)unlock the SIM card, leaving out the second step.
  8. Installed SabreKat (modded NF1).
  9. Installed CM11 w/ AGNi PureCM kernel.
  10. Restored the Nandroid backup.

Could anyone help me find a solution to this?

I am having the same issue I flashed the latest SOKP and got super High speeds, yet I had issues with getting a black screen during phone calls, the call goes through but I cant hang up fo I flash to AICP and get the worst speeds ever. there is a new Modem I317UCUCNE5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...itkat-t2799739 try flashing that. I work in a basement and live practically on an island so I can only test when I am out and about

I should say, I fixed this by reflashing 4.1.1 stock on.
