Download TWRP.tar from here http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/t0l...lteatt.img.tar flash in PDA with odin. download supersu from http://download.chainfire.eu/451/Sup...erSU-v2.01.zip copy supersu zip to sd then flash with TWRP recovery you installed. And then you will have supersu and have root access. click on supersu and it will ask to install files then it will ask to disable knox. I disables it slow so don't be alarmed. and all done!

HIT THANKS!

I've done all as instructed and instead of the typical TRWP screen . i get android recovery screen with options:
reboot
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

reflash the .tar file with odin. I had to do it twice as well then it worked for me. Sorry I forgot that happened to me.

one more silly question...should i allow phone to reboot, then power off and then put in recovery mode or attempt placing in recovery mode before reboot starts

After flashing TWRP again, pull battery out when you see “PASS!” in ODIN, then boot straight into recovery by putting the battery back on and using the buttons, you should see TWRP recovery now.

Ok so I followed the instrutions to a t and flashed for a second time , removed battery and manually rebooted. Once everything loads i get a " unfortunately Supersu has stopped. Anyone has any suggestions on what to do next. Greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
