Hi,

I had DN3 rom v3.2 running on my Note 2 n7100. I wanted to install the latest one, and thought that I might have to upgrade to the latest bootloader MJ5.

I downloaded the bootloader, and tried to flash it using Odin v 3.0.9. I connected my phone in download mode, and clicked on start, and got the error : " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."

Please help.

Currently downloading the firmware from sammobile.

Model: GT-N7100
Model name: GALAXY Note II
Country: India
Version: Android 4.4.2
Changelist: 1552758
Build date: Tue, 06 May 2014 07:41:13 +0000
Product Code: INU
PDA: N7100XXUFNE1
CSC: N7100ODDFNE1
MODEM: N7100DDUFND1

But the above file seems to be 4.4.2. I was on Jelly bean. Will it work?

Please help.

Regards,
Cyrus

Oh, I also wanted to mention that I did have Philz recovery installed earlier, can I try a recovery?

I am trying to boot into recovery mode but getting the firmware upgrade error.

Please help.
