Hey guys, i've been AOSP long time but i decided to switch to Touchwiz because i was bored a little. I find those Galaxy S5-like ROMs nice, having those extra power saving mode (making black &white), i missed great camera (crappy AOSP one..) etc....
What i don't/didn't like though, is DPI and S-Finder crap in notification pulldown.

Here are 2 workarounds i found on XDA.

1. Change DPI
I like lower DPI since stock is 2 high for me... What is the use of a large screen like this if everything is so BIG.
You can change DPI manually by going to /system and build.prop and find dpi settings there but because you'll have to change permissions to RW and then back to RO i find it easier with application from playstore. You'll have to be rooted of course...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...texdroider_dpi Here is an app on Playstore for changing DPI, how ever, i found out it soft bricked my phone. After some messing around i found out clearing cache and dalvik helps. It might be a coincidence, but i'd recommend doing it. I keep my settings at DPI: 420.
After you apply this DPI in application, i'd do a reboot to recovery and clear cache & dalvik cache. I figured it optimizes apps (after next boot, it says optimising applications).

2. Get rid of S-finder & Quick connect
Here is a flashable .ZIP file that worked for me like a charm... I see that as a waste of precious space in notification shade...

Just reboot to recovery and flash this ZIP

Anyways, thanx for a great ROM and i hope you find these 2 usefull...

Cheers

First I wanna say I completely agree about the smaller dpi I settings. But when I do this on my gs5 (either using textdroider or altering my dpi through a root explorer it also changes the limitations of the screen as shown in the picture but can't seem to figure out how to increase these restrictions I
