i used mobile odin pro and used the latest flashable zip in this thread thanks to mdiaz33685

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2760452

you are looking for a zip file called "N9005XXUFNF4_hlte_Stock_Odex_Not_Rooted_NoKnox.zi p" this zip is normally a cwm flashable zip

next flash the zip using mobile odin pro and use the ever root option.

you should have the latest firmware and knox at 0x0

hope this helps and not a fluke on my behalf

edit: i was coming from nd3 firmware and used towelroot to root

edit 2: instructions step by step from post further on
  1. On ND3 firmware root with towelroot
  2. Install Mobile Odin Pro
  3. Download zip from http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358557264
  4. On SuperSu i had Survival Mode on
  5. In MOP select the zip file you have downloaded in the OTA section
  6. Make sure EverRoot and all options are ticked including wipe Dalvik cache
  7. Flash the zip then when booted up go to SuperSu update binaries and you should be rooted and knox at 0x0.
  8. Modem can be flashed separately using the full tar file from samfirmware.com and flashing in MOP selecting only the modem fields.
Hi my friend, can you make also a new version with the new mg2 firmware? Big thanks

Thanks, sweeney_uk ! I follow your step and use official firmware from SAMMOBILE, and the firmware for HK "N9005ZHUENF1", it also work and keep 0x0.
Note: difference in step 5, i choose open mdf file.
Thanks a lot~~~~

Info 2 verfication...

I would like to verified here...

1. I downgraded my firmware to nd3 before that I have upgraded my hp to nf4 (malaysia firmware)
2. I able to downgrade using original firmware from sammobile anf my hp but no modem seemed to be installed.. in the instalation.
3. I rooted it successfully with towel root and installed mobile odin and flash with the mod firmware in the first page of the thread.
(the installation of nd3 is very unstable sometimes it need to be restart several times after Flashing the mod firmware everything is smooth as the original nf4 instalation I had before. The modem is not installed correctly though as my phone cannot detect any local gsm carrier.)
4. I flash the modem with(which is CP-modem-XXNF2.tar) using odin.
5. my Knox counter is intact 0x0. The phone is able to detect my sim card local carrier..
6. Sorry for my broken english.

Me too I'd like to know if how you did it. If you just flashed a previous firmware before NF4? Then for some reason it did not flash a modem? I would like to do this too and have my knox intact. Since NF4 is not really good for me.
