Hi Guys,

Since the release of note 3 in the market last year, there have been so many custom roms available on XDA, I was wondering if there are any progress on implementing a kexec-hardboot kernel for dual boot purpose as this would enable us to test roms a lot easier. Are there any people with technical knowledge be able to tell me more about how we can implement it and maybe we could start the progress on doing so? Cheers.

Here's any article I found if it helps in any way.

I'm also wondering why the kexec hardboot method hasn't been implemented for hlte. It shares the same SoC with the Nexus 5. But, there is a way to MultiBoot. Not SafeStrap, but something different. Follow this link; http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2447534
It's on the S4 forums and support for the Qualcomm Note 3 varaints has been added recently. You can MultiBoot TW, CM, AOKP, MIUI and AOSP ROMs. The alternative ROM has to be patched in order to MultiBoot.

I tried the dual boot method you showed me, unfortunately it doesn't work, the dual boot patcher crashes when I tried to patch the rom I was to install.
