I have a problem with my new Galaxy Note 3 N9005..

I just bought it on a website selling owner. And I think I am a victim of a scam, the phone is blacklisted and no recourse to get a refund.

I know it is possible to change the number of imei with SPT Box, but it costs $ 280.

I'm apppel to you, is what someone would know a way to change this famous free number box?

I read this post:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2604219

Is this method work?

Thank you in advance for your help

what did you mean by blacklisted?

If you cannot access the current network (your home network), you can change to another SIM of another network.
As blacklist is network-dependence.

I don't know another meaning of blacklist?

Well most of the time all the networks of a region or country collaborate on a blacklist...like in Canada and US... If one operator blacklists you, the national blacklist has your imei and your phone is useless in that region...from ethics pov your have a phone which was reported lost or stolen...sell it for parts or sell it overseas

Thread closed as the OP is requesting help changing IMEI, an activity which is illegal in most countries.
