Hi,

As per the title I have noticed I can't disable NFC, this is not common to one rom (currently on Civz-FlexKat) but I noticed this since 4.4.2 stock rom update came out.

Is there anyway of completely removing NFC as its the no.1 source for battery drain on the Note 3.

Cheers,

Fz

Answered my own question.

Downloaded an app called System App Remover by Jumobile - absolutely awesome. Did the job and allowed me to remove a whole raft of other crap that wasn't needed.

Alternately, a cheapo replacement battery would do it too. The NFC antenna (hardware even?) is inside the samsung branded batteries. Maybe better oems too...
