Has anyone downloaded to NP12.2?

I have all up and running on both my NP12.2 and N8.0. On my 12.2, it requires a office365 subscription. My N8.0 I can edit and save locally.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it due to MS looking at the larger screen size as "business user"?

It is my understanding that is their superficial number to exclude laptops getting it free. I want to know if we can change the screen size reported to the apps.

No subscription is needed up to and including 10.1". After that you need a subscription. A 12.2" tablet with a keyboard suffices as a laptop for a lot of people. If you want free use Hancom, if you want official Microsoft Office on a 12.2 expect to pay for Office.

Could be worse, on Windows tablets the line is drawn at 9".

Sure, but with root I wonder if we can report a different size to the Office apps.
