Default Problem with Custom Roms

Hello i have problem with lagging and battery drain with custom roms (my current rom is Spirit rom 4.4.4) if i enable wifi and i go with browser on facebook my battery is very drain and the battery is very hot (40C if i charging the temperature is 45-50C) ....Please help ..

All custom ROMs (4.3, 4.4 also stock 2.3.6 and custom 2.3.6)

For me the fastest rom with small battery drain is Omni rom. Test it too

If you have the same problem even with the stock firmware then the problem might be with the battery. Batteries that are old (2+ years of continuous use) sometimes overheat and don't last for long.
