[Q] Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Bricked

Hello, I have a bricked Samsung Galaxy S, now it reboots continuously and I can't enter in Recovery Menu but I can enter in Download Mode but when I enter in it reboots. It shows the samsung logo and then reboot. I have read about Jig but is there a method through software? Where can I buy this Jig? I have searched in the forum but I haven't found a good tutorial about it, where is it?

Changing batter I was able to enter in Download mode but Odin sometimes recognize and sometimes not. When I was able to recognize it with Odin I have flashed this firmware: mediafire.com/download/7zi08msdhtguuig/GT_I9000_XXJVO_XXJVO_OXAJVO_Sbl.7z
with s1_odin_20100512 and Re-Partition. But when I start appears this message in odin 1.7: Can't open the serial(COM) port. i9000
I have tried with Odin 3.09 and it blocks on "Setup Connection".
Anyone can help me please?

Resolved with Windows 7. With Windows 8.1 doesn't work.

Odin v.3.09 is incompatible with i9000. Last compatible Odin was 1.83, any later may work, but also screw the i9000
