He's lucky: lot of good development going on for that Phone!
Not for mine so far (Moto G 2nd Edition).... Threads are very messy and development is very slow. A lot of people there not knowing a thing about development or the rules of XDA. I'm kind off fed up with that, but what can I do about it?

Hopefully, he will get involved in the G2 development
Still one huge issue with LG G2 - stock KK ROM is so stable and efficient that for now there is no performance related reasons to look for anything else

I am thinking off and waiting for a midrange device with the Snapdragon 410, CortexA53, ARMv8, Adreno 306, 3.10.x Kernel, 64bit quadcore.

Should have a much more better per cpu performance and less battery drain. Once there will be an lollipop update they will perhaps profit from 64bit futher.

regards

I got LG G3, can definitely recommend it as the price/quality & components ratio is really good, and the manufacteurer releases updates really quickly. For the - I would mention the qHD resolution, as it influences performance a bit, but it's still great
