I've never had any calling problems but i've heard snapchat can cause serious issues. Do you have snap chat installed?

Do you have snapchat or the hangouts dialer installed? These seem to be a bit of a bother lately. If you do, uninstall and reboot.

Touching all four capacitive buttons bottom of t989 from left to right powers on display on helkat ROM, is this a feature of the ROM or can it be added to all custom ROMs via app or kernel?

My power button is broken and this feature which I noticed while using this rom has literally saved me, so I want to know if it can be transported to other roms or official OS?

That's a kernel option. You'll need to stick to a kernel that supports it.

So yes, you can flash another rom.. And use a kernel that supports sweep to wake. If the kernel is compatible with the rom.

    HELLKAT for the Galaxy S II (Hercules)!!!!


    HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at https://github.com/Hellybean/android

    Installation instructions
    1. Download ROM
    2. Reboot into recovery, You must use a SELinux compatible recovery.
    3. Please back up your ROM before you begin!
    4. Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik
    5. Flash the ROM
    6. Flash 4.4 Gapps
    7. Reboot
    8. Let it sit a while.
