I tried putting different images for:
stat_notify_email.png, stat_notify_gmail.png, stat_notify_email_generic.png & stat_sys_headset.png

But for some reason, the old (standard) icons are still showing up for the notifications.
I'm currently not near a pc but as far as i remember this icons are in the SystemUI.apk.
Can check later mate

Anyone having this kinda problem?

Try installing ficeto from OTA. After that try again to flash mods. It worked for me. There seems to be some issue with ficeto from rom.

Doesn't flashing Philz CWM6 touch recovery just give you a temporary recovery though? For it to be permament it needs to be compiled with the kernel

yes its temperary

I think Philz recovery is a mix of cwm and twrp... Its has custom backups and support for twrp backup and restore so I think its good except I dont like to use his kernel because its like stock
