With hiroX 5.1 Medium I got better battery life than with stock Jeboo (I am currently with 21h 58m battery life and 2h 20m screen on time, mostly on wifi, some mobile data along the day and still got 15% left). That was not an intense usage, but with the same usage I managed to get around 1h 30m of screen on time. And that's my first cycle after a SUPER CLEAN (?) flash (I was testing on stock LS8 this past week). I hope to get a bit better the next days, I guess I can manage a day of battery life with 2h 30~40m at least, of screen on. All this is with the original stock 1650 mah battery.

Just curious, does siyah and dominanx use The official Samsung hardware composer? I've been on jeboo and it flies.

I thought hw composer was in the ROM not the kernel.

Well, that numbers I hoped turned out to be today's! I just plugged it in to charge with 1% and the final numbers for battery life and screen on time were 1d 0h 12m and 2h 38m. Great performance. Hope it gets even better with some usage. I repeat that I haven't tested it on performance heavy apps, but for daily standard use with wifi/data it gets around a day (literally, not just the time you're awake) and with pretty good screen-on time.

Tomorrow I'll test it the same way, but swapping a bit of wifi for mobile data, and adding some GPS use. A bit more intensive. And will come back with the results so that you have a reference if your use is similar to mine, and specially if you have the stock battery.

You can, but there's not support.

Thank you! This is my problem no lock screen and power button resetting phone.
I thought this is issue with EFS folder. first thing happened to me was lost of network signal and no IMIE.
I have not known this is LS8 issue- thank you Samsung!
Now I am on the way to recover EFS from my backup but I need to revert too my first Rom GB 2.3. I need more time.
Then I will flash Chameleons on top off stock Rom as many people claimed out there this is best to avoid problems and get best performance.
Thank you again.

Ps. Jazzk looks like LS8 version can mess up with EFS - dangerous thing.

Actually it is just an empty file missing and can happen on any ROM upgrade. I had this problem previously too, see this -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1620727
