GPS of this phone is terrible, it's about hardware but you can config gps in gps.conf at system/etc maybe It's will fix a part.....

Yep, I can port my ROM to E120K but I don't have E120K to test it will work perfectly or..... brick

when i click install nothing happens, this issue happens after couple of days of using the ROM, please check.

or is that because of Snapdragon and Greenify app's i am not sure.

it works if i do factory reset.

With my phone, It works normal, you should check your system apps, maybe you delete wrong files :good:

Messages Bug

I'm on v1.2 and is it just me or is there anyone else out having issues with the default Messages App on this rom ?

Everything else (so far) works superb on this rom except I can't view any SMS cause the app keep crashing when I launch it.

In my phone it's normal, I think you should clear cache and clear data of message (Remember always backup first)

There is an SVN ROM V1.2 for our device too (SHV-E120S)...

Download that and port that ... i too am using it on my phone and is working very well...

I have cleared all the data on the Messaging App ( Settings / Applications Management )...which deleted all my contacts. No good.
I have disabled contacts syncing on all accounts, uninstalled Skype or any other App that works with Messaging. No good.
I have tried disabling and re-enabling Messaging. No good.
I cleared the cache in Messaging. No good.
I cleared the cache and force stopped the process. No good.
I cleared the cache and force stopped the process and restarted the phone. No good.
I cleared the cache on the whole phone via Recovery (Davlink Cache, System Cache) and restarted. No good.
I did a factory reset on the phone. No good.

I want to keep using the default Messaging App as at this point I don't want to use Handcent or other 3rd party.

Update:

Found out it could be related to Recovery not installing the correct CSC? and should try a Bootloader Update on ODIN? Any of your advise would be appreciated as at this point I'm thinking of going back to what I had before.

I can't say that anything is wrong with the bootloader, I have flashed countless phones, this is the first time I get such a problem. To my disappointment, even using an App like Pansi SMS I couldn't recieve or send any SMS. The funny thing is I can get and make calls. I dug around and found this:

To connect SHV-E120L phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Go to dial window.
2. Enter "319712358" number.
3. Enter "0821" password.

There's a bunch of hidden network settings one of which I would assume lets me reset something. I haven't tried to use any of them but this is my last resort.

My E120L is also very slow after this ROM. I love this rom but it is too slow. My RAM is showing 200MB empty in task manager but still it very slow. At times I need to restart the phone.

Please help me what can I do for this?

Really? Mine's not though. Its very fast indeed and smooth. Dont know what happened to yours. I flashed the rom from stock rooted 4.1.2 JB rom.

hmmm, I think maybe the way you install rom have some problem, with my phone message work normal :victory:

You should turn off Power Saving mode

You should check your sim card.....
