I am on a Captivate running CM7 and have been on it since it was first released. It has come a LONG WAYS since I first put it on my captivate. CM7 went from being my test phone to my daily driver leaving my second captivate running continuum 5.5 (gingerbread 2.3.3) as my testing roms phone. Well I am here because (fingers crossed) ATT is probably going to get the SGS2 Attain. Well I hope ATT doesn't screw with it and keeps it the same as the rest of the worlds sgs2's. (ATT left out a front facing camera and not sure if the I9000 SGS had it but we also don't have a flash for the camera). Other than those two things the Captivate has been a VERY NICE phone. Now to cut to the chase.

When ATT get the SGS2 and CM7 will work on ATT's SGS2 Attain I will donate $50 US dollars toward it. Even if it is lacking on some things at first but is a work in progress. I will then donate further to the devs as it becomes more stable with nightlies at least. Hopefully ATT will have the SGS2 Attain sometime this summer.

EDIT: I just read the last few pages. SWEET Atmin is on it. Atmin do you know if the ATT SGS2 (Attain?) will be the same as the other SGS2's? Or will it be like the differences between the SGS and SGS Captivates? I have been trying to find more details on the Attain but nothing too new about it. Thanks for looking/working into the future for the next generation CM7.

Don't adjust your screens, you read it right the first time: Samsung gave a phone to a CyanogenMod developer because they want them to work with it.

And the story http://www.androidcentral.com/cyanog...thanks-samsung

This has made me love Samsung even more... this is a very cool thing for a massive manufacturer to do like Samsung.
