Usually CPU during benchmark throttles. So it depends on the ambient temperature. Put the phone in the freeze in a plastic bag, or somewhere really cold (0 C or below) and overclock it to 1.5-1.6Ghz. In normal conditions even 1.2Ghz is just the burst clock. After some seconds - especially when the GPU is in use too - CPU will hit the throttle temperature. Benchmarks take time complete, so some tests will have CPU clocked at 1.5, while others at 800Mhz. A non-throttling S2 can easily go over 15k

How about running the benchmark in freezer room?
