CM9 now seem like a stable release for GS2, but I'm wondering what Wi-Fi direct is.

I do often use the WiFi hotspot to share my Cell data plan with other people, are thoses the same time? If so I guess i'm out of luck.

It's totally worth upgrading.

- there's nothing out which can make the gs2 going out of resources, so we really need more cores and stuff.
- cm9 on gs3 will have more bugs than on gs2, and since we love bugs, this is something we must have. (if it ever will get cm)

Nothing to do with cm9, it's an issue with api between google and fb. If you need contact sync grab HaxSync, worth the price.

Can you or anybody else recommend a good car dock app? Ideally, it would activate voice commands, data & GPS when docked and have shortcuts to navigation & music player. More or less like the touchwiz car app.
