That guide is for Ubuntu.

Why don't you just follow the Ubuntu guide? Some commands/package names may differ, but otherwise out should be no problem.

General question to people installing the regular nightly s..

Are you calibrating your battery during flashes?

How often should this be done or is it even required?

No need to, and as far as I know, it is not required (never done it myself).

What if your box has for example 16GB of RAM?
Go 64 bit!

Hey codeworx,

well I am happy for any suggestions ... my Ubuntu 11.10 amd64 server refuses to repo sync correctly for weeks already. this started for me while still doing my CM7 kangs. It will always hang up fail sometime at the end of repo sync. E.g. when fetching prebuilts. I really tried everything, but I couldn't get it to sync to the end :(
Being desperate I just tried it on my HTPC which is running 12.04 beta 32bit. and Bang, first try, it repo synced just fine.
Any suggestions?

boba
