You can use the CF Root LP7 for LP3. I have done it yesterday and all works fine. No Issues.

I'm about to update from 2.3 to the XWLP3 firmware, so if i follow the step by step guide for Odin (in first post) and use this ROM will it keep my data or wipe it? Because i'd rather it kept it...

I did notice not as smooth as the original kernel. Because of that I buy mobile Odin and install top do not lose the root user . Now I have Lp3 kernel, but lose CWM. on boot to do backup or restore.

coming from GB you will least experience problems if you wipe and make a clean flash/install. just make a backup and back your apps with TB. worst comes you can always go back to your previous rom.
you can restore youre preferred apps with TB as long as its supports ICS.

those running Galaxy S II official ICS be it DXLP7 or any Europe ICS firmware, please help to verify. Thanks in advance!

Did Galaxy S II ICS firmware allow users to take photos while video recording?

Seem like Galaxy S (I9000) Value Pack have this feature.

I've found a curious bug in LPQ and 3: if you have a long alert tone in calendar (I use 15 minutes of Nyan Cat Jazz, because I use it to wake me up according to my schedule), the tone file keeps playing after you dismiss the notification. I need to reset my phone to banish Nyan Cat. This didn't seem to happen in LP7 and, while it is intermittent in LPQ and 3, it's very frequent.

The calendar in LP7 was difficult for other apps to hook into. Setting Profiles was unable to lookup the calendar. Simple Calendar widget had UI customisation issues (couldn't change font sizes).

TWLauncher is unstable as hell.

Touchscreen sensitivity is terrible on LP3, good on LP7 and I wasn't on LPQ long enough to notice.

Luckily LPR is a fantastic baseband for i9100T and I'll use it from now on but battery life on LPQ,3&7 is astonishingly bad. I'm hanging out for a proper release of ICS (LDx) otherwise it might be back to LA4.
