Anyone else getting this?

Make sure you use 7zip to extract the RAR and not winrar

you should end up with a 600+mb file named

GT-I9100_LUX_I9100XWLP4_I9100XXLPS_I9100LUXLP1.tar.md 5

I also saw that installing csc with *#272*imei# doesn't change anything cause when I pressed *#1234#, it still says I9100LUXP1

It's a sim free phone curently used in Greece with cosmote.
I installed COS and after that EUR and it won't read the sim.

Any suggestions?

I bought my SGS2 yesterday and a friend that sold me a phone has updated Android to 4.0.3 (LPQ). Only bug we figured out is that screen lock doesn`t work any more and when a SIM have PIN lock turned on - after restart - phone doesn`t ask for PIN but instead just says "Emergency call only" ....

What I already tried is using different versions ("official" from sammobile Hungary I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXXLPD_XEH, previous version I9100XXLPJ_I9100XXLPJ_OXA and finaly I downloaded a version you posted in first post I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_XEO).

Problem manifest:
Even though in "Settings" there is a Screen lock turned on (no matter if it`s Slide, Pattern, Password...) after pressing Power button screen fade out. Pressing it again brings me back to normal home screen instead of Screen lock. I even tried to download Lock screen application and it doesn`t work too although it says it does (Device administrator - OK, just press icon to lock the screen) - same simptoms.

I suppose this is related to PIN issue I already described so I`m asking if this is only hapenning to me or ?

Thanks again for advice and I hope I didn`t skipped the answer in previous posts. If I did I apologize but please send me the link to that post.

PDA: I9100XXLPQ
PHONE: I9100XXLPQ
CSC: I9100OXALPQ

Baseband: I9100XXLPQ
Kernel: 3.0.15-I9100XXLPQ-CL223505
Build number: IML74K.XXLPQ

Thanks again.

Under Settings--> Security what is the value for "Automatically lock"? Try changing that to 15 seconds then to 5 seconds. Then press the power button to enter sleep mode and try again after a few (5) seconds.

Try Intratech's thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1075278 and search for DXLP7 on the page and you'll find a link hosted a skywanker.net

It will allow you to download at a decent speed. I can upload to rapidshare but it will take a bit.

Yes, it will work. It's like any other stock firmware, even though it's not stock because of the "features".

First of all, you don't have to apologize for asking anything. We are here to learn from each other!

Secondly, you can use Check Fus Downloader to download any stock firmware directly from Samsung FUS (Firmware Update Server) which is the same server used by Kies... usually, it's faster than any file server.

Double checked it and there is no prob w/file. I mean, I have downloaded it twice to check its integrity and it's OK. Its size is 376.260.760 bytes.

I've flash the I9100XXLPS 4.0.3 version, works fine, evrything seems to be ok and stable, but one problem: charging!!!
it's so so long to charge, only 40% in 1, 5 hours. Does anyone have the same problem?

Root with cfroot 5.4
Using setcpu.
