Smile [Q] FM Radio on SLimKat

I have installed the SlimKat 4.4.2 rom on my s2. Is there any possibility to get my radio back in this phone? if i install the radio app or something?

Yes, buy the Spirit1 or Spirit2 app by Mike Reid.

The Samsung radio uses Samsung's 'closed source' code....
As such, anybody who includes a working Samsung radio in a custom ROM is likely to incur Samsung's 'wrath'.....
Basically it ain't ever gonna happen.......

My wife says I'm a phone geek....She's probably right

My understanding is that Samsung's radio app requires changes and additions to Android frameworks for which corresponding source code isn't released. So, no.

That's just sad. Thought everything was a open source framework here. Anyhow I just installed spirit FM. It worked. But it has a lot of disturbances. Even the audio output is very less

I wonder to go back to stock just for the stock radio.
