For backup purpose , I tried to upgrade to the latest Recovery_CWM_18.104.22.168_I9100.zip using Install Zip from an older CWM of my Samsung Galaxy S2.
And I'm in big trouble because after installing the clockworkmod recovery the phone won't boot anymore. It's stuck on "Galaxy SII - GT-I9100 - SAMSUNG" splash screen
The CWM works and gives this log:
I:Can't partition non mmcblk device: /devices/platform/dw_mmc//mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0
I can mount partition and accessed it from my pc.
I wiped cache and dalvic cache without more luck.
There is no vibration on boot either.
As my data aren't backup yet, I don't want to wip them out with some ROM. Did I miss something?
Any hint about what I should do to have the phone boot again would be greatly appreciated!
