Hello all,
I have been using Diaster Rom v6 for quite some time, and love it.
BUT now there is v11, and so I installed it, and noticed my phone drained greatly, and got very hot.

the issue seems to be one of a few proccess which I believe come from the samsung push service:
com.sec.spp.push

I love Diaster Rom, but I'm going to modify the ROM, and add some customizations for myself.
Can anyone tell me where the "init" scripts are?
I didn't see anything in the /etc/init.d directory.

I'd like to know what scripts are started up at..
thank you!

android.process.media
So I figured out its the android.process.media that's draining my battery.
I never had this problem with diaster rom v6, but I have it with v11.

I do have an external SD card, but I've also had it with v6.

how does one go about figuring out what android.process.media is doing?
or what program is calling it??

any help would be appreciated!
