Storage [Q] Deleting everything from internal storage

I have a lot of various files and folders cluttering my internal storage, and it's sometimes making it hard to navigate through all of that. If I backup important stuff (music, pictures, downloads etc.) and delete everything else (not format, I've read several threads about people having like 4Gb of storage after formatting internal storage), will there be any issues? I see some Android related stuff and I'm worried that absence of those folders could cause some issues?

Thanks

The easiest and safest way (if you are worried about deleting the wrong thing) is to fully wipe/format and flash a fresh ROM (you are rooted right?)
Search for @hawkerpauls ROM and kernel nuke scripts or flash a PhilZ kernel and 'wipe it all'..........

Sent from my Infected KitKat bar.....
