Default [Q] Messed by by Kit Kat

I may have lept before I looked, and installed Kit Kat to my i9100. (Using the ROM and Gapps in this link: http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/53038...m#.UrM7m_QW2Go)

First, I started getting weird battery messages, like
battery is getting low
-1061814476% remaining

Then Gapps did not install. In CWM recovery, it only gives me the option of loading a ZIP from /sdcard, and not the external sdcard
And if I select /sdcard, it does not show me the contents of SDCARD0 but of some unknown folders called 0/ and obb/

And I have not been able to boot into download mode, and ODIN does not seem to see the phone.

One of those kind of days.

Has Kit Kat given this phone rabies?

Don't follow links /guides from outside xda as a general rule. They get all their info from here anyway.

Battery percentage : known CM bug. It's fixed on the latest builds.

In recovery, go to /sdcard, then 0/. Keep following the 0/ until you see the contents of your card. I haven't had that issue on my phone, but have on my tablet. Hopefully it works out the same.
