I have a GT-i9100 and I was on this ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1489197 - Omega V24

I wanted to switch to 4.4.2, this ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2535369

So I tried to flash it but I got this error:
Finding update package....
Opening update package.....
E:Can't open /storage/sdcard1/cm-11-20140109-INFECTED-i9100.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
So I tried it with the KITKAT recovery in the thread and same error.

So I tried so flash Omega again, first it succeeded, but after the install I tried to reboot, and I got stuck in bootloop, it was booting and go straight to recovery, after that I tried it again and get this: finding package..... opening package.... and it just reboots to recovery.

So please help me!

Why can't I install both ROM's?
How can I get 4.4.2 working or go back to Omega because I can't use my phone now, only recovery and download mode, but I can't connect my phone to my pc because the USB port is not working good.....

Looks like you package (4.2.2) was corrupted (maybe bad download) or your recovery wasn't compatible (most likely). When you mess things up like this, first calm down and clear your data/cache, and flash your rom again. If that doesn't work, go to stock via odin and go ahead from there. Also, don't forget to make a nandroid backup next time and read instructions carefully and calmly.

This may work and someone else helped me to, I guess I can fix it but the problem is that my USB port is not working good so my phone can't connect to my pc, so I guess I can trow my phone away, I'm already looking for a new phone to buy, because I'm not gonna spend 45,- to fix my USB port when my contract is over in 2 months.
