Question [Q] from rom 4.0.3 to higher ROM

i have a Samsung SGII i9100 with android 4.0.3 basedband version I9100XXLPX and i would like to upgrade it to latest version... i saw 4.4.2 is available.

1. is it possible to upgrade it without issue ?
2. how can i backup actual ROM and all data in the memory into a file or browsable file structure for PC usage (contacts, notes, messages, or pictures,..) ?
3. where can i find information about backup procedures ?

1 - Yes it is possible to upgrade without issues, just make sure you have the right CWM installed. There are some links around.

2- Backup all your apps and data using a app, make sure your files, pics and other data are stored safely on your SD card and transfer it to your PC to make another backup incase your SD card goes caput.

3- Installation instructions for the ROM should be on the first page of the ROM.

Press thanks if I helped.

It is possible to upgrade without issue, just like its possible to win the uk lottery (odds of 14 million to 1).
Read the kk threads so you are aware of any bugs etc.
