Default [Q] My root dissapears after installing ROM?

So I installed the very very good ROM which is the Slim Saber ROM. However once I install it, I lose my root status and can't edit the weirdly low dpi which came default with my Slim Saber Rom.

When I try to reinstall root access with the ROM active, my phone bricks so it doesn't work. Can someone else help me, perhaps my root method is too old or something? I used the method from wikihow.

Thanks please help meeeh

Perhaps I need the newest Supersu 1.86 version. I'm not quite sure what my old version is, but i'll try flashing this one instead.

All you need to do is go to Settings -> Developer Options -> Root and tick "Apps and abd". root will then be active.

cheers

if it doesn't work try a custom kernel it will install root directly but first tell me which android version you are running so i can give you the working ones with your ROM.
Sorry for bad english

Supersu has a backup script which allows it to survive the rom updates.
After flashing Supersu it gives a prompt to enable the script.
