I9100XWKK5 issues
I just flashed KK5 yesterday as I read very positive feedback and coming from 2.3.3 this is 10X better especially on the baterry.

Now its only been 2 days but what I did notice alreay twice is that the phone random reboots ...Has anyone else on KK5 experienced this or is this specific to my phone.

Also why are ALL the links down on Intratech's posts ...I tried to dowload several other firmwares and all time out ...Is there a workaround or something I am missing here ?

Cause the hosting website got shut down. He's uploading them to another service. Or he was anuway!
Try the LPH ICS leak. Works pretty good.

Using stock Bell Rom, trying to flash KI3 modem. (Phone slot)

File- Modem_I9100XXKI3.tar

I was able to flash just the CSC file the same way, CSC slot of course.

Anyone?

Question
Hello! First post - thanks in advance for the help.

I downloaded what i thought was the firmware - turns out the file labelled "UHLB2 Stock Kernel" was not the firmware. Before I knew this, I placed it into Odin in the PDA section and followed the rest of the instructions, where it appeared to work and got the green PASS indicator.

Did I do any damage to the phone? Other than what I've done above, I have the stock 2.3.3 Virgin firmware on my S2.

Since I'm here, I might as well confirm: will the *actual* UHLB2 firmware be okay to install? Is there a preferred version that most experts agree on? I tried finding that out, but with 113 pages of posts, I obviously got lost.

Thanks!

Help with ROM kernel flash...
Hi,

Hate that my first post is a help wanted post, and being a noob can't place this in the ROM forum yet so I thought this might be the next best place.

I have installed westcrip's Resurrection Remix ics v9.6 ROM today and I noticed he has a kernel update separate from the ROM install. The instructions call for an external SD card but I don't have one. Has anyone here performed the kernel update on the internal memory? If so please post how, thanks.

Modems for Rogers
I have a BELL edition SGS2 (GT-I9100M), unlocked, rooted, running Checkrom RevoHD V6 with the KH3 modem/radio

Everything works fine on it, it's just sometimes the GPS isn't too responsive and data speeds are not that great. Could just be the Rogers network, but I'm open to modem suggestions

What would be the best modem for a Rogers customer in the Toronto/Scarborough area?
