This is a Samsung EMC43UDAME Mic Cable

Its not working with any of my phones tried it in several different custom and stock roms, i dont think it's the cable though, I think our android phones just don't support audio out through Micro usb, what are your thoughts could it be just that the cable is faulty, it's pretty brand new and as far as i checked it looks pretty good with no damage at all....
I know that 3.5mm jack has support for earphones with mic but digital audio out via usb is pretty much cool, u know I thought this thing could work DAC and stuff...

Damn I am pissed..

Audio out via DAC will never happen. Too many proprietary blobs for devs to bother, and many have been asked. All have said the same thing - messing around with said blobs tends to break stuff/make stuff not work properly.

So unless you're going to do it yourself, you're out of luck. Get a dedicated media player if you want good sound.
If it's important enough to cause you grief if it's lost, back it up. No excuses
Trolling for thanks is lame
Does Samsung's auto-brightness implementation crap drive you to self-harm ? A solution !
Probably the best thread ever posted on XDA
Failure to search is the leading cause of male impotence on XDA
If you don't know how to recover if things go wrong, what are you doing flashing custom roms ?
Donate to you ?? Bahahaaaaahahahahahahaaahahaha !!!

Thanks, damn stupid proprietary blobs, why can't they open source that too, anyway I got a useless connector, which phone will support it, does s2 support audio out at all, maybe in stupid stock firmware ?

Or I better start reading the codes and try to do it myself, I thought something must have already been out there.. and being proprietary it's gonna make me give up pretty soon.

Default enable sound when in dock mode

did you enable sound on your device when your device is connected to a dock?
you can enable it here:

settings -> accessory [in system] -> dock sound [first item]
