Smile [Q] Titanium Backup and 4.4.2

Hey guys!

I was thinking of switching to Omni 4.4.2 from Carbon 4.3.1 but I have a question.
Will I have any problems restoring app data with Titanium Backup? I was reading the _infected thread and someone advised not to restore app data.

Is it okay to do so now?
Thanks for your time!

You're switching from JB to KK and restoring app data might cause some issues like force closes, etc.
You shouldn't restore any system data and also avoid restoring user app data.

However, if you really want to restore data then start with user apps first and see the results.
Then you can try restoring system data like SMS/Call logs.

When I switched from JB (Carbon) to KK (Omni) I restored apps only and no data but while doing so TiBu got stuck and I had to force close it.
After that I started getting an error "Insufficient storage available" while downloading/updating apps even though I had plenty of space.
Then I wiped everything and downloaded the apps instead of restoring.
Since then TiBu always gets stuck if I try to restore even the KK app backups.
Not sure what the problem is here.

You shouldn't have any problem restoring with TB. Just make sure to set the location of the backup directory. On CM-based 4.3 (CM10.2) and 4.4 (CM11), the internal SD is called sdcard0 or and the external SD is called sdcard1 (formerly extSDcard on stock 4.1.2).
