I hadn't used the Siyah kernel since I switched from GB to ICS and kind of forgot about it. Until yesterday I installed it on my stock ICS rom. I have to say this kernel has come a long way and is absolutely superb. The phone just seems a lot more responsive and the extra's like wakelock free BLN and touch recovery are really great. I can recommend this kernel to anyone. Great job!!

Oh btw, bln is with wakelock now. Bugs aplenty with without wakelock. Hopefully gm will find some away around it!

I have CM9 as primary and Foxhound as secondary rom and i've just updated both.
Foxhound has some extra scripts that flashes a modem, wipes all caches, fixes permissions... and who knows what else...
But everything went fine. All apps on both roms are still available.

Edit: to update the secondary rom just select the "install zip" option inside the dual-boot submenu.
Remember to reflash Siyah if you update you primary rom.

GS: I've been using dual boot for a bit now, just updates b8, second rom boots fine.
I thought I'd check the CWM status of the system (sorry, can't quite remember what the setting was called) and it said "no second rom installed on /prefetch" (or something similar, sorry I just can't remember and don't have my phone here right now).

edit:
the error is under VIEW CURRENT STATUS

E:unknown volume for path [/preload]
No second ROM found

When clearly my second rom is working.

Phone call speaker volume
Hey,

I flashed latest Siyah 3.2b8. I cant control speaker volume during phone calls, has anyone noticed this with 3.2b8 and could this be kernel related ?
