Have to enable the weather then disable both refresh interval and statusbar weather styles to save battery.

Cheers!

But when u reboot it goes again

Main ROM : RR AOKP 2.6

2nd Rom : RootBOX

KERNEL : Dorimanx 4.9
The answer it's actually on the FAQ, under the section: "On the notification area ¿Where are the date?" And unfortunately it's the only one for the moment, i know that at reboot it's lost again, hope be fixed for the next release.

But i can't rename the googlequicksearchbox.apk in /system/app because i dont have permissions. So i guess it's because my phone isn't rooted.

Now my question is, do i have to flash a new kernel to get root on this rom ?? If so, which one should i flash ? Im using cm9 kernel atm.

Thanks in advance.
If you are on this ROM you have root mate...

You can't rename it because you need some file explorer to give the "Read and Write" permissions to the /system folder, use ES File Explorer or Root Explorer to do the change.

You have to enable the weather. In addition, if want to save battery, you can disable the interval refresh and the statusbar weather styles.

In the moment, this is the only way to keep the date, after reboot.

You're welcome. Yeah, that's the solution, it's weird because i can remember read about some users that tell, even rebooting the date remains ok after enable and disable the weather.
