Changelog state that you are going to get this feature in beta 2... setting->system->status-> wifi status icon

Slim Bean 4.2.1 Beta 1 release.

This is a new thread as we have started from a completely clean slate AOSP base and included most of our features within... and 4.2.1 is quite a bit different from 4.1.2 (even though both are Jellybean!!?!)

IMPORTANT NOTES
  • NEW BASE FULL WIPE RECOMMENDED!!! This actually means wipe data/factory reset AND mount/format /system manually...
  • By downloading this ROM, you accept the fact that you understand that your device will not magically have more RAM or CPU power
  • Also keep in mind that this is Beta software features and performance will vary as we get closer to the stable releases.

Merry Christmas

EDIT

problem solved, post left for continuity

END EDIT

DON'T USE THE MIRROR

The download from the mirror is for the i9100G.

Guess what folks I didn't read and just flashed it, and surprise surprise my phone wouldn't boot and just hung on the first boot screen.

Thank god I had an old ODIN tar file to sort it out.

Really really hope one of the devs reads this and fixes the mirror link.

Yes, look at the file name. The one from the mirror says I9100G and the normal says I9100.
Search and read before asking questions!

Only the mirror is wrong, the other is fine, it was slow for me so I cancelled the download and used the mirror.

I just got a bit excited and just saw beta2 and flashed it without reading the rest.

Lesson learned, ALWAYS check and check again before flashing.
