... Thats because you are looking for it in the wrong place.
You will find that option under:

Settings/interface/lock screen/screen security in RC1

Bear in mind it only applys to the lock screen and not sim unlock where you must still press enter.

Just have to say I'm very happy with rc1. I think it's good not to rush a release and take some time for testing. When it's ready I will try rc2 for sure!
