USB stick is very slow (ok - it's an old one) - and i can't play and charge at the same time - so my next try was to bind the obb dir to a CIFS Share with cifs manager. It works - but it only gives me read permission - so no new install is possible.

Can anyone help me here ... it would be more than great to use WLAN-N speed binding the obb dir with cifs to my PC in my home network, giving the nexus 7 unlimited storage for games - AND CHARGING at the same time.

Maybe also "sharing" the obb dir on Cifs on multible devices is possible (obb files ar read only ?) ....

Can someone try to bind a directory to cifs share and getting r/w permission ?

Please help ! Thank you !!!

That's an interesting thought... I'll look into writable cifs shares... This would be a good option for home based users.

i created entry /sdcard/Aura -> /sdcard/external_sd/Aura and activated it (green) - all works.
next time i entered the app, there is no such entry (but i think the mount was still there because Aura worked)

so what is background service actually for?

Simply uncheck "Handle USB connection" in preferences

Great app, but cannot save binds?
Works great on Sony Xperia Tipo with ICS. However, it refuses to keep savings like after reboot. At the moment I do backup and then restore after phone is restarted. Since there's a boot option in the software, I'd think storing the binds would be part of the app...

I think you can test if "Handle USB connection" (preferences) is unchecked.

regards!

Τry this
Make a folder called tomtom in /sdcard.Then go to /sdcard/external_sd and make a folder tomtom.
Then go to directorybind and add a new bind as follow
at source /sdcard/external_sd/tomtom/
at target /sdcard/tomtom/
open the program and let it to download all the necessary.
If you allready download in /sdcard move tomtom folder in /sdcard/external_sd make an empty folder tomtom in /sdcard and then make the bind
