Default How can I backup updated GApps?

Titanium Backup won't let me backup Google Apps and GApps packages for the AOKP aren't always up to date. How can I back them up? I saw some thread that shows you how to create GApps, but is that the only way?

You don't need "AOKP" Gapps. Just get a updated (or up to date) Gapps package and flash it. There are plenty out there.

You could always just keep a copy on your external sd card if you have one. I keep mine there along with the current rom I am using.
