Default [Q] Will a battery help my S3 Mini?

Hello XDA!

Okay so I have the NFC model of the S3 Mini (i8190N) and in need of a battery. The reason being because the phone just keeps randomly rebooting like all the time now (say if I am at 90%, it will randomly reboot and go down to below 5% ). It never used to do this and I have had the phone for not even 12 months (Around 8/9 months now I've had it). I'd like to think its the battery that is the problem as I have done a "battery test" like spinning it around and placing it on a flat surface and it drops. My battery has 4 pins (not like 3 pins from the original i8190 model).

Sorry for if some of what I have said doesn't really makes sense (haha :P) but If anyone has any help they can offer me, it'd be greatly appreciated!

P.S: I was looking at the original NFC battery on Amazon which is about 10 (as that was the only one I could find with 4 pins lol) and was wondering if that'd help anything?

I also bought the 3-pin instead of the 4-pin one for my I8190N, it just losses NFC connectivity. It doesn't bother me since I don't use NFC. If you need the 4-pin one, might need to buy from original Samsung center which will be quite expensive.

Wow so you can use a battery with 3 pins (in a NFC model with 4 pins) and it'd still work?

What about this battery then? Would this be okay to use? Would it stop the reboot issue also? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00A...&robot_redir=1

Edit: Ordered the battery earlier so here's hoping that when it arrives, it'll work fine!

And sorry if the first part was a dumb question xD

Yeah dude. Recently i was in same situation. Just go and buy an new battery and use only stock based roms. Higher than 4.1.2 will cause battery defections.

Thanks guys for the replies!

I'm using R Mod v3 at the moment which is obviously based on stock 4.1.2. That will be fine to use right?
