Hello everyone,
Please help us test our app Boldbeast Call Recorder, here it is: boldbeast_recorder_V71_u8500.apk
This is a special version for Galaxy S3 mini GT-I8190, GT-I8190L and GT-I8190N. It is based on Boldbeast Call Recorder V7.1 but we changed several parameters used to record calls.

Galaxy S3 mini GT-I8190 uses following settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 4 or 1
- Record Format: WAV
- WAV Sample Rate: 16000
- Tune Samsung 1: Yes
- Tune Samsung 2: Yes
- Tune Samsung 3: Enable Group 1
- Tune Special: Yes

Galaxy S3 mini GT-I8190L uses following settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 4 or 1
- Record Format: WAV
- WAV Sample Rate: 8000 or 16000
- Tune Samsung 1: Yes
- Tune Samsung 2: Yes
- Tune Samsung 3: test Enable Group 1, Enable Group 2, Enable Group 3, Enable Group 4 one by one
- Tune Special: Yes

Galaxy S3 mini GT-I8190N uses following settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 4 or 1
- Record Format: WAV
- WAV Sample Rate: 8000
- Tune Samsung 1: Yes
- Tune Samsung 2: Yes
- Tune Samsung 3: Enable Group 1, if needed please test other options
- Tune Special: Yes

Can it record calls perfectly in two directions without root? Please tell us your test result, thanks.
If it works well we'll include these parameters in the new version of the app.

Some users sent email to us confirmed GT-I8190, GT-I8190L and GT-I8190N with Samsung official ROM record calls perfectly in two sides using settings above, no root needed. It seems this is the only solution without root so far.

We have not received feedback from users about CM 11.
For CM 11, if settings above don't work please use following settings to record calls (root needed):
- Record Mode: 21, 22 or 23
- WAV Sample Rate: 8000 or 16000
- Tune Samsung 1: No
- Tune Samsung 2: No
- Tune Samsung 3: No
- Tune Special: Yes
- Change Audio Controls: No
- Change Audio Driver: Yes

Does it work?

Both sides are weak or only one side is weak?
Can you please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to us? let us have a look at them. Thanks.

I checked your log files, you did not test Record Mode: 21, 22 or 23.
Can you please power off and power on, then test Record Mode: 21, 22 or 23?

Boldbeast Recorder doesn't change any built-in files in the system after get root access, it only dynamically changes audio related settings (these settings will be restored to their original states after power off / power on), so the app is 100% safe.

Can anyone else confirm the result of CM11 for Galaxy S3 mini?
