I picked up a 2nd stock battery and a external charger for under 20 bucks at amazon. I swap out my battery before I head to work in the mournings. I never put my phone on the charge anymore. the swap takes 20 secs and instant 100%.

I'm hoping it's fantastic! I'm sick of my battery not making it through an 8 hour shift at work with brightness as low as it will go. I'm just too heavy of a user. I'll gladly take the added bulk for 6+ hours of on screen time at half brightness! I think I deserve to have it set higher than as low as it will go and still be able to use my phone for extended periods of time without watching the percentage drop by 2-3% at a time.

Anker batteries work really well on my S3. Also, check out reviews on Amazon and they have some of the best ratings.

I received mine today and so far it's awesome, 8 hours off charger 2.5 hours of on screen time with 50-75% brightness, 1 hour of voice calls and I'm still at 62%, and this is the first cycle!

Just ordered the anker 4400mah battery for 9.99.

Normally I'm not a fan of extended batteries as they make the phone look stupid but I decided to give it a try anyway. I've been searching for a side by side comparison picture for size compared to stock( pictures of the handset with the battery in) but haven't been able to find any.

Same here. I'm also sporting a ZuGadgets Aluminum Bumper for an overall aesthetically pleasing phone. =D

I bought a Hyperion battery with NFC. Love it! But I read in that previously linked Phandroid article that most backcovers do not include the NFC pickups. I had no idea that was required!!!

I am using the Seidio Active Extended case, but the Hyperion back cover was incompatible with the case, so I just left it off. But now I noticed NFC doesn't work! Maybe I shouldn't care, since it took me this long to figure out I didn't have NFC. Any recommendations? A way to "hotwire" NFC?
