So, am I reading this correctly that I'll be able to run Jkay deluxe on my i9305 BMA3 Nordic stock ROM? Sweet. It will be tonight before I can test this and will need to install CWM first, since I'm simply stock rooted via Mobile Odin ATM. I expect a Paypal donation to be going out tonight or tomorrow. Thx for all the hard work ..

I can confirm that it does work with BMA3, its running on my phone right now

Off-topic, I've also done a quick test with 14.8 on ELKC and BLL5 and it seems not to have any initial issues (the lockscreens work, the extended power menu works, the notifications screen works). I'm uploading now...

OK I had a look at 14.9, most of it looks fine, however I noticed the Extended Power Menu isn't working.
So unfortunately for now I think 14.8 may be the most stable.

If I get more time today I'll look more in-depth into the smali differences and see if I can somehow patch it. Will keep you all posted...

14.8 didn't work for me, definitely running stock BMA3 on my i9305. After flashing I got stuck at boot loop. Restarted phone after first boot loop, still got stuck. Pulled battery and re-booted the second time, still got stuck. Third time, I tried installing the restore file from CWM recovery, but there's a problem with the restore file. While installing the BMA3 restore, CWM text output suggests it aborts installation because it's actually for ELCK.

Just wondering if it makes more sense to re-install pre-rooted stock ROM from Odin and await your reply. Cheers.

Actually I kinda already posted this before. From my own experience, JKay mod on our device is only working on deodexed Roms. It doesn't matter if it is stock or modified. On the other side, I have tried everything on odexed stock and it doesn't work. I hope the good developers here could find a way to get it working on original stock odexed as the original on the GT-I9300.

Wouldn't you know it I flashed the pre-rooted stock ROM via Odin after my last post, but didn't bother with the deodexed/zip-aligned version. At this point I might wait a bit and see if the devs might get it working on stock odexed. Although, there is a deodexed/zip-aligned rooted stock ROM posted, so I might get ambitious and flash that.

I've also put up some versions which don't which what firmware you're running, this will be good to see what JKay is compatible with what firmware.

tested v14.9 Universal and AOSP blue themes on XXBLL5, everything was good in the beggining, but after i started to modify some setting in the Deluxe app, i noticed that the notification's bar content was not displayed when swipping down on screen to activate it (i use Nova Laucher Prime), if i put my finger on the notification bar directly and drag down, it shows the content

anyways, good to know that its working, i'll just troubleshoot those small issues and hope to solve them

I've been playing with 14.9 with XXBMA6 for a couple of hours, and it seems to be working well

Also, I'm only testing Deodexed versions, I think there may be a problem with Odexed. If that's the case I'll just remove the Odexed portion and make it Deodexed only.

Maybe try doing a wipe on your phone (after backups ofcourse) and install a stock rom + jkay, see if that helps.

UPDATE

I've noticed that there was a bug in the installer with the deodexed versions I uploaded.
Its fixed and I'm uploading the new versions now.

Also, I noticed that JKay has released the MA2 base for 14.9, so I'm just wondering if anyone has encountered any problems with the 14.9 release here (certain options not working etc.)

So far there's only been confirmed reports on Deodexed firmwares, that might be the issue.

- Updated 14.9 to the MA2 base
