[ROM][I9305/N/T][KK 4.4.4][2016-04-15] **THE GALAXY PROJECT ** [XXUFPB1-v26.01]

ROM updated to v20.12:

- Fixed some installation problems
- Removed HboKernel and replace with a modded Stock Kernel
- Updated Hosts File
- Updated the following apps:
-- Google Maps 9.2.0
-- Google Play Store 5.1.11
-- Wanam Xposed 3.2.6

With this modded stock kernel, I've enabled SU, init.d, and made ADB insecure. This kernel would be intended for people with 4.3+ bootloaders, as Wifi will be disabled on the 4.1.2 bootloaders.

Since I don't have the new bootloader I can' t really test this modded stock kernel to see if it actually does work properly or not (Wifi enabled etc), so if someone with a new bootloader could test this I would be grateful.

EDIT : and I have Philz touch 6.48.4 recovery.
It boots and here what I've tested :

Mobile data OK
Bluetooth OK
GPS OK


Only thing I've noticed is dpi issue on PIN code screen but it's not kernel-related and I guess it's a known issue ?

The PIN code issue has to do with the new lockscreens that have been added, I'm seriously thinking about removing those extra lockscreens just to get the PIN working again, as its a function that is obviously used by people.

OK sorry, yesterday I forgot to test SU/ADB part.

Unfortunatly, neither SU nor ADB work with your modded stock kernel.

About SU : When I try to open SuperSU, it gives me black screen (even after phone reboot and retry). I've tried to flash again latest SuperSU in recovery but no luck. Also I've tried the re-root command in Philz Recovery and then install SuperSU again but still no luck. ROM seems to be UNROOT (?).

About ADB : EDITED : I have to test again . I'll let you know but since SU doesn't work, maybe ADB root will not...

I think device offline was because of my PC, I had to reboot it. That's why I have to test again ADB but I think it will not work as SU doesn't work.

That's probably true. Maybe if I do some research and learn about enabling SU for a new bootloader I might get some answers (asking other kernel devs for example).

It's something I can keep playing with until I get some results, the important thing is it doesn't do any damage

I just downloaded this ROM.. I have following queries before Install this ROM

1- Please confirm about the battery timings and screen on timings of this ROM
2- Please confirm that this ROM has working blocking mode feature? As I just Installed the Galaxy S5 Project ROM but Blocking Mode is not working in it.. I need this feature
3- I am previously using Amcha ROM 2.0 and having feature of calls/sms blocking like in the screen shot attached.. please confirm that this feature is included in this ROM's settings.. Thanks in Advance..

Hm ok, I did a search for Gravitybox KK and the only thing I saw was an AOSP version. I may be wrong.
This comes with Wanam Xposed however which you can use to add some mods to your phone, unless Gravitybox is doing something Wanam doesnt

i flashed this ROM on my device Samsung Galaxy Pop SHV-E220 korean ( which is very similar in specifications with Galaxy i9305 ), but when it completed installation and reboot, i got previous version 4.1.2 on it as new ROM?
what is missed or wrong step can be? anything like it automatically restore to its original / stock ROM ?

please help to upgrade to KK.

I'm sorry but I have no experience with E220, I can only assume the partitions would be different to begin with.
You would have to partially re-write my updater-script so the partitions match the E220.

problem solved, now my device is on KK
i installed Kies and upgrade firmware through it, and got KitKat 4.4.4
